Sara's Scandinavian Christmas - Turn the Deer Die into Rudolph - Easel Card

Sara's Scandinavian Christmas collection is a gorgeous set of products which can be used for more than just cards as it includes Mixed Media dies. For this post though I made an easel card and the Deer was just crying out to have a red gem added for the nose.....Rudolph has landed!!

I used a Kraft Card for the Easel base, matting and layered it with Cream card and Red Mirror card.

Hope you have a fab weekend x

Square Accordian Die with Ivy Overlay

This is my last throwback post for this week. If you have been following them all I hope I have given you some inspiration on how to use some of your older dies.

This is the square Accordian die with the Ivy overlay again. This time I used Centura Pearl Card with Green Card for the overlay. Perfect Pearls were used to create the red berries and the Die'sire Poinsettia die for decoration.

Tomorrow I will be posting a card I made with a newer release from Crafter's Companion.

See you later x

Create-A-Card We Three Kings with Edge'able Peace On Earth - Diorama Card

Welcome to my throwback posts.

Here I have used an Edge'able and a Create-A-Card die on the same card. This is black card and silver mirror card with silver Guilding Wax used through the die.

I think the Edge'able works really well with this one.

One more day of throw back cards after this one so hope you will pop by again tomorrow x

Create-A-Card Christmas Angel - Centre Step Card

Welcome to my throw back posts.

Looking at this I am wondering why I don't make more centre step cards, I remember how easy this one was to make. I used purple glitter card behind the die cut...I don't appear to have added many gems on this one. I think I am going to remake this one with a lot of bling.

Thank you for visiting and see you tomorrow x

Create-A-Card We Three Kings - Diorama Card

Hello and welcome to my second 4 day throwback feature. The cards in these posts are from a few years ago and are some of the first ones I made for Crafter's Companion. I have loved my crafting journey with them and I can see a real difference in my skill level when I look back at these. These products gave me the confidence to try new things but sometimes the most simple of designs are the best.

This is a Create-A-Card in it's most basic form. Centura Pearl Card has been used for the main card and I used Distress Ink over the top of the die which really shows the embossed detail of the die.

Join me tomorrow for my next throwback card x

Die'sire Shutter Card with Christmas Ornament overlay

If you haven't seen the new Die'sire Kinetic Die's then you are in for a treat. They allow you to cut out in a few minutes what would normally be a really difficult card to make. You only have to decide how big you want your card and once that's decided the die's do the rest.

Here is the Shutter base with the Christmas Ornament Overlay.

I used Gold card for the base, red Mirror card for the layers and Gold card with Holographic Embossing powder for the overlay.

Hope you all know me well enough by now to know that there are a few gems on there as well.

Thank you for visiting and hope you can join me Monday for my second four day throw back event.

Items Used
Die'sire Shutter Base
Die'sire Christmas Ornament Overlay
Die'sire 0.5" Alphabet
Luxury Card - Red

Doily Lattice Edge'able - Easel Card

The Doily Lattice Edge'able is a lovely detailed die and I don't think this does it justice but my love for Easel Cards a few years ago meant that most samples ended up as an easel card at some point.

Lovely die which is fab for many occasions.

Well, until Monday, that's it for the throwback week. Tomorrow I will be showing a newer sample.

Thank you for staying with me this far x

Edge'able Die - Victoriana

Day 3 of the throwback cards...this is a simple 6" x 6" card. I can tell I made this back when I didn't own many die's because I used flowers to decorate rather than a sentiment. Still, because of the edge'able it still turned out pretty.

Throwback week continues tomorrow.

Thanks for visiting x

Die'sire Accordian Card - Square with Overlay

Another throwback. This was made using the square Die'sire Accordian die and Ivy overlay. This is all made with Centura Pearl Card and I used Distress Ink Iced Spruce to colour the overylay.

The flower is the Die'sire Poinsettia die...love this flower!

Thank you for popping over and visit again tomorrow to see another throwback x
